This is wedding song, 60s girl group, wall-of-sound, lets get down to business and experience some joyous euphoria kinda music. Literally, no joke, and I never think about my own Wedding ever, but when I heard this intro initially, I literally imagined stepping out on the floor with my new wife for our first dance. Seriously.
The harmonies are explosive, the lead is sweet and powerful - think Aretha toned down - and the melody is extremely familiar. It’s like this track was the theme song to an early 90s family comedy, but then Will Smith zapped me with the mind erasing device from Men in Black and the memory of this beautiful song exists only in the deep folds of my subconscious.
This song is joy made tangible.
You listen to this song now, go to iTunes and buy it, throw it on your ipod and then proceed to blast it in your car (windows down) and get happy.
Seriously, the quality is poor in this video, you need to drop 99 cents on this song.
